Eileen Coughlin’s first published poem “Unfinished” was published by South Ash Press in 1991. The title would later launch her return to poetry. A former Vice President in higher education, she retired in 2017 to with the unfinished business or writing. She has an MFA in creative writing from Pacific University, and a doctorate in Educational Psychology with a dissertation that focused on divergent thinking. Her poems have been published in Literary Mama, Door is a Jar, Awakenings Review, Better Thank Starbucks, and several anthologies including the recently released Elder Voices, and A World Unsuspecting. Her poetry book “Postcards from Autism” was published by Kelsay press and was released in December of 2024.
